This Grade II listed building in late classical style in the centre of Leamington Spa required sensitive remodelling and detailed liaison with Warwickshire Council’s Conservation Architect. The simple, restrained glazed penthouse roof extension (concealed from the front) unifies itself with the historic original.
An extremely tight budget dictated to some degree, the internal materials and finishes. Through sourcing, thoughtful detailing and prioritising key areas, a good level of aesthetic and functional quality was delivered.
